Kirtan is a practice through which we honour the Source from which everything emanates, including us! In yoga, this all-pervading energy has many faces and personalities in the form of gods like Ganesha, Durga, Shiva and Krishna to name just a few. By chanting these divine names we tune into the frequency of each and awaken their divine mood inside of us.
The vibration of mantra meditation via the modality of music and song helps us to transcend the thinking mind, and drop into the deep chamber of the heart where we remember our true nature is love.
Kirtan is the perfect elixir for challenging times and is healing through the discovery of our own voice.
We hope you can join us for this special evening! No prior chanting or kirtan experience is necessary, and there is no requirement to join in the chanting. You can simply let the sounds of the evening wash over you.
